?Cite the appropriate statute that supports your opinion using APA.

Case 1: Sam owns two rental properties that he has not been able to find tenants for. In desperation Sam decides to destroy the properties to not only collect the insurance money, but to avoid paying further taxes and upkeep on the properties. Sam decides to burn the buildings down. In preparation for this he makes sure that the structures are far enough away from neighboring properties so the fire does not spread. What Sam does not know is there are two people squatting in one of the buildings, and in the fire they are both killed.

Case 2: Sally is angry with her boyfriend Tom, and while at a party Sally throws a drink in Tom’s face. Tom responds by slapping Sally. The police are called to the party. Is either party excused because of the conduct of the other?

Case 3: Jimmy accidentally locked his house keys in the house. None of his friends or family had a spare key, so he had to break into his house to get the keys. Someone driving by the house saw Jimmy breaking into the house and called the police to report a burglar. The police came out to the house to investigate.

Case 4: Beth and Danny are married and live in Mississippi. Beth was out of town, and she asked Danny to sign her name on the back of her check and deposit it in the bank. Analyze and explain whether Beth’s permission matters in this case.
