I’m writing from Italy.
I’m attending a specialisation course that will enable me to teach English in public schools here in Italy.
My English Literature Professor asked me to write a dissertation on the “woman question in the victorian age” precisely on how this matter was reflected in the writings of some of the authors in the victorian age. I can choose the authors I like prefer.
She asked me to build up a sort of “path” in which- after talking about the woman question in general- I can explain, through specific excerpts, how society (woman question in this case)) was reflected in the works of the writers (novels, poems, etc)
Please do not choose more than 3 or 4 authors (I’d prefer novelists).
moreover please quote and transfer on the paper the passages of the works that will serve for the demonstration because she will have me read them.
